In the spirit of the late John Hartford Colin O’Brien entertains with Banjo, Fiddle, Guitar and the percussion of his dancing feet. Many of the numbers on his new recording Dancing by the River, sound as if they lived in the ether for centuries, only to be channeled finally through his imagination.
He has won the Wisconsin Area Music Industry award in 2004, 2005, 2006.
