I bought this album two years ago- all the way from CD baby in the US. It never let me down, and to this day, I cherish the lovely Benga Tunes played by the Master. I have been doing research on Colly, and found 45 pseudonyms for this great man. The music is exceptional, best played in the cool of an evening breeze in the Tropics. Memories are Made of this and other lovely Colly albums. I had to go to Uriri, Nyamilu village together with my cousins last December to pay hommage to a man I deeply admired. Colly is not dead; No, the Benga Wizard lives through these timeless tunes! As a tribute, I plan some activities in memory of Ja Bar Ochiago-as he was popularly known. Watch this space and you-tube!

I feel that the real sense of benga culture lived during the days of the likes of Dr. Collela Mazee and then late Ouma omore. The new generation artists are just eroding benga and turning to the congolese style music which has not been conveying any important teaching to the kenyan culture. Rest in peace the benga Heroes!
