Album Notes

Colorspace was put together in 2005 by keyboardist Chris Durbin. After moving to greater San Jose, CA, he went searching for musicians to record and perform his original songs. Bassist E. Tibor Tarczy was the essential link to the rest of the rhythm section, having played with many of the area’s best musicians. And Chris had worked in the same corporate/wedding party band with vocalist Leopold Lacy since 2000, so finding a vocalist was the easy part- Leopold was clearly the man for the job, with his great voice and riveting stage presence. A prolific songwriter, he also contributed two songs to the project. The other band members, highly regarded and successful freelance musicians living in the San Jose, CA area, are Ken Harrill on guitar, E. Tibor Tarczy (a.k.a. Endre Tarczy) on bass and background vocals, and Chris Miller on drums and background vocals. THE CD COMBINES A JAZZ/FUSION LIKE FEEL WITH AN INCREDIBLE LIVE GUITAR EDGE IN EVERY RIFF KEN HARRILL PLAYS. I LIKE IT!!! CHRIS MILLER ADDS A SOLID BACK BEAT WITH JAZZ LIKE TIME SIGNATURES THAT ARE COOL. MR. TARCZY IS MY HERO. HIS STYLE OF BASS MAKES EVERY SONG INTERESTING.
