The Color Turning is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, California - emotive and accessible, yet devoid of insincere saccharine. There is a synergy that exists between these five who share, among so much more, a voracious appetite for innovation, change, and growth. They are a band willing to do anything to create sound, never for a moment sacrificing the songs to inaccessible experimentation or "noise for the sake of noise". With an intense live show, The Color Turning have been known to use so many instruments that they, at times, seem more like a small orchestra than a standard rock five-piece. Their depth, ambience, and wide-ranging instrumentation often aligns them with European bands rather than the American pop punk current.
Gaining momentum locally and abroad with their 2003 EP "Our Currency Is Time" , as well as an engaging live show, the five band members (Steve, David, Garet, Jason, and Sean) have proven that neither angst-ridden or joyful music alone can connect the way their music can. In 2005, they've released their sophomore album, the 'Antidote EP', and will be touring around the United States in Spring/Summer 2006.

Sounds just like the band live!

author: WillWith all the prepackaged crap the music industry is putting out, thank God for TCT. The Antidote EP builds on their last ep with more well put together, artistic and unbelievably great songs. A must buy for any lover of real music.
