Album Notes

"The new CD is stunning. It blows away everything I have heard from anyone recently in prog-rock terms."
Martin Hudson, Classic Rock Society

"From the addictive hooks of ‘Glass And Steel’ and ‘Solid Ground’ to the equally uplifting ‘Tomorrows World’ and ‘Cloud Cover’ that closes the set, these are stand-out songs that stand high alongside many I could name from many big-name bands... a superb album that showcases an expansion of the Combination Head sound that takes them a few steps up the ladder to a new league in Prog-Rock musical terms and on to much bigger things I’m sure"
Dave Shoesmith, CD Services

Even Better the Second Time Around!

As good as Combination Head's self-titled disc is, this one tops it as perhaps my favorite CD from 2007. Two tracks, "New City" and "Liquid" made it onto my 5-star playlist, a list of over 1,000 tracks spanning the 60's to now, from Progressive Rock to metal to alternative to folk and country. Unlike their self-titled CD, vocals are mixed in with the instrumental cuts. Alan Parsons Project comes to mind adding to the Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Yes, Camel, Brian Auger and Pete Bardens influences. These guys would have been huge in the 70's and 80's. Great production is just icing on the sonic cake. If you are a fan of art rock, keyboard jazz and just plain great music, you need look no further.
