Common Swift hails from Madison, Wisconsin, and was formed in 2008. Their music draws influence from Radiohead, Deerhoof and Sunset Rubdown. Capturing feelings of anxiety and isolation their debut LP, These Safe Homes, highlights the disconnections of our modern society with sweeping movements between unconventional musical elements, melancholy pop, and frantic rock. These Safe Homes was recorded and produced by Brian Strutt and Parker Reynolds at their home studio in the fall of 2010.
