Album Notes

This original musical by SW Florida writers Rick Compton and Betsy Bennett tours the mythical adult community, Pelican Roost. This three-person, eighteen character, 75-minute original musical is a positive, laugh-out-loud romp. It is the perfect prescription for anyone who is growing older (or thinking of doing so someday).

The Pelican Roost tour includes: a Catskill comedian, TV attorney, golf course Lothario, adult community politics, sex and a lively appeal for organ donors. Assisted Living: The Musical® features sex and the single senior: “Help, I’ve Fallen For You (and I Can’t Get Up)” and “WalkerDude@Facebook.com.” Audiences also hear about the perils of elder-operated autos in “A Ton-and-a-Half of Cadillac Steel.”

“ You’ll die if you don’t see this show.”
-San Jose Mercury
“Gentle, funny and touching on topics near and dear to baby boomers and their parents.”
-San Francisco Examiner
“If LAUGHS are what you like, Assisted Living: The Musical is the show for you!”
-San Mateo Daily Journal
