Album Notes

Robin Leigh Massie and Steven Condy are a husband and wife team who have performed opera and musical theater throughout the world. They met in graduate school and were married in 1992, soon after receiving master of music degrees in voice/opera performance from Yale University. They have dedicated their lives and their careers to the praise and worship of God in Jesus Christ in all forms and styles of music.

Jamie Rankin (piano) studied music and German at Wheaton College (IL), and has been working with Christian youth choirs in Germany since 1980 as arranger and conductor. He received his Ph.D. in Germanic literature from Harvard University, and now teaches as a Senior Lecturer in German at Princeton University, where he is also involved in the ministry of the Princeton Evangelical Fellowship.

"Be Thou My Vision" marks Robin and Steven's first joint recording venture. With Jamie, they have chosen some of their favorite songs, both old and new. It was recorded shortly before the 9/11 attacks and was dedicated to the victims and families before its release.
