Conjunto Alegre is a Puerto Rican band, dedicated to promote Salsa/Jibara and music from the Caribbean, in general for the enjoyment of our diverse community. Conjunto Alegre, plays Salsa, traditional Puerto Rican music, (Jibaro), Merengues, Plenas, Bombas, and other world rhythms. Conjunto Alegre was formed in the San Francisco Bay Area. The band has 10 members that come from various parts of the world. The members are from Hawaii, Puerto Rico, San Francisco, New Jersey and France. Conjunto Alegre's CD is enjoying the highly success of their Debut CD, "Cuando Me Toque Partir". It can be heard all over the world, from the U.K., Japan, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and all across the USA from New York to California. Many radio stations are playing the CD to the enjoyment of all of the fans who had support the band throughout all these years, and to the new fan base being formed internationally.
