I truly loved both I Love Life albums growing up and now play the songs for my own 4-year-old daughter. Like "Winnie the Pooh" and "Alice in Wonderland," Laurie's songs were inspired by her own children's imaginative stories and favorite activities. Full disclosure: I know this because I'm her son. After 30 years, I don't actually remember asking her the story of the giant, whose name I apparently decided was Christopher Adams, but I do remember how real that giant seemed to me each time I listened to the eponymous song.
