Conniption is somewhere between classic hard rock and classic heavy metal thrash, with a new edge. Conniption delivers a creative attack during the entire album of "A Method to Madness" and shows real potential for the future of the group. This is their debut self-released album/demo.
With "Thrash" coming back into popularity, this group is sitting in a great position! "A Method to Madness" is much like the back story of Conniption's music. It is a simple demo that became much more.
The idea is to take a step back, so as to take two steps forward. Expect to hear much more from this underrated Milwaukee band in the future.

AWESOME
author: DJ Hawk
This band is definately pure metal. With asskicking drums, memorable guitar riffs, a thunderous bass and vocals that are second to none. The mix of classical and thrash blows me away every time I listen to it. While the classic sound of "old" Metallica is obviously an influence, Conniption takes it to a new level of greatness.

They F*ckin Rock
author: Lynette aka "Foxy"
I suck at writing reviews so I'll keep this simple. They rock! If you appreciate metal and listening to original music from a fantastic band you need to buy their cd. Would love to see them live!
