I wrote these 16 songs for a female voice. They are love songs. I decided to play the melodies and all parts from my synthesizer. I recorded these songs to help the singer feel the song, rather that just read the notes I write on lead sheets.....but everyone I talk to thinks I should release this album as it is.....instrumentally, even though I have the lyrics for all these songs. I will briefly describe the subject of each song. WHEN I THINK OF YOU is a song I wrote for a Broadway play that I also wrote and it's about a professor who falls in love with his/her student. FEELIN' FREE is about a woman who is a free spirit, loves life and love. LOVE AND AFFECTION is about a woman who needs romance back into her life. MOONDREAM is a fantasy dream riding a magic carpet ride among the planets. WITHOUT A HOME is about a teenager that runs away from her dysfunctional family and falls in love with another runaway. ONE PLUS ONE is about mating with one person that you love. FLY AWAY is a children's song that I'd like a group of kids to sing. TONIGHT is a soldiers lover/wife/husband who waits at home while he/she is at war. NOW I HAVE TO CRY is a pregnant woman who's lover/husband sailor went to sea, his ship sank, all die, life goes on. I'LL GIVE IT TIME is a breakup song and getting over it. MAGIC LOVE is a world peace song. LIVIN' A LIE is about a couple pretending to be in love for their friends to see. MIDNIGHT BLUE is about a tragic love story. TRENT'S BIRTHDAY SONG is one I wrote for my son, Trent, because he "hated' the Happy Birthday Song. AMERICA is a song I wrote for the National Park Service, where I was a Park Ranger for years. (Happiness is) HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is a 4-Holidays song, Christmas, New Year, Easter, and Thanksgiving.
