This cd features a unique combination of musicians from Puerto Rico, Mexico, The Big Apple, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento resulting in the sizzling sounds of Conquista Musical. Twelve musicians with a common goal bringing you a unique style of salsa which combines the driving Afro-Cuban rhythms with a variety melodic lead vocalist, ringing sweet vocal harmonies and screaming high energy brass and woodwinds.
Keeping within the confines of tradition and yet able to branch out into todays modern music styles this collection of original compositions and arrangements will satify both the dancer and the listener. author: katLove this cd. Bought it because I saw the band played several times. They are definitely one of my favorite bands in the Bay Area. My favorite track is #6. If you ever see them play, you will definitely want this cd.

this group is unique because they are the only salsa band in sacramento california an area that doesen,t have a big salsa sceen like san francisco but i just recently saw this band praform live at roccapulco club in the mission last weekend and they are a good band and this cd is worth buying it,ll have you dancing the night away
