This is a beautiful album, her wonderful poetry along with the great music is a match made in heaven. You put the cd in and it takes you to another place, a better, beautiful, and soulful place. Diggin' The Poetry Lady...

There are often times when a person will hear lyrical content and there is an automatic connection. A story where you connect, a melody that moves you, a person who can do both phenomenally well. That is Cassandra. The wordplay is deeper than you imagine, while the melodies behind the wordplay are a movement to the soul. She is telling a story in each piece. Giving a testimony to those who might hear her. Those who do feel like they need to stand up and shout. Others simply lie back with their eyes closed, a snap of their fingers in tune to the beat, and a subtle bob of their head...just feeling her groove. The CD is beautiful; the artist even moreso. Cassandra's delivery of each spoken word is what draws the audience in. You can feel that she can feel exactly what she is telling. I truly, and I mean truly, believe that everyone can take something from this CD.
