Album Notes

Cool Rudy was formed by Tom Henninger and Bruce Warren (both ex-band members of the U.S. Mods) along with Greg Snyder in 1990 to explore a different type of music than they had been playing for the past several years. Cool Rudy recorded enough material to complete two albums. Musically, Cool Rudy can be described as Pop with definite Ska and Reggae influences. The musical style was inspired by artists such as Bob Marley, The Police, XTC and The English Beat. Cool Rudy plays with a fun, upbeat style. This release, "Live" was recorded at an outdoor benefit concert with a party atmosphere. It is a rare and pleasurable look at Cool Rudy and it's guest musicians. See the Cool Rudy videos on YouTube.
