ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jimmy Cooper started his music carrier playing the electric bass. He had a few piano lessons as a child but fell in love with the bass in his early twenties. He loved paying the bass with songs by Jimmy Hendrix, Santana , War, Blackbirds, Jazz crusaders, Donald Byrd and many others in this style of music. He enjoyed playing the keyboards while expressing him self through words. He started recording his own music playing the bass and synthesizers. His heart has always been playing and recording his own music.

He records and produces his own CD's as an independent artist because he said he is not looking to make himself rich and famous but to release his own creativity with the freedom that he needs, without someone else's idea of what's good for him and others in this world to hear. He has played the bass with the Sabba 4 group playing R&B, progressive jazz and originals and played a with a seven piece band at a Atlantic City casino banquet room. He has played with a gospel group playing at special occasions at different Churches in philadelphia and at weddings. He has played the bass with several Churches choirs, and paid studio work.
