With an eye toward tight arrangements and sparse instrumentation, Copper Dalton's music is an urgent brand of melodic modern rock.
Joe Tristano (lead vocals, guitar), Chris Feil (drums), and Charlie Bonnell (bass) have been creating music together for the past decade. Their story showcases the humor, conflict, and ultimate growth that resulted from forging a unique voice for the band.
From their first, dangerously wired P.A. system, which Bonnell claims shocked him clear across their rehearsal room, to creative obstacles, both personal and stylistic, the members of Copper Dalton have remained committed to the challenges of the craft. "Copper Dalton has been the lure for us," says Tristano. "We have been drawn to it, it's ensnared us, and we've served each other through the band."
Since their first CD's release, Copper Dalton's been busy putting the finishing touches on their second full-length album, while continuing to record other artists for their label, QSP Records. In addition, they've penned a song for the film "Remedy", directed by Christian Maelen.
"Music is something that got under our skin when we were just kids," Tristano adds. "We're grateful to be able to give back to that tradition."
"Emotional desperation and gut bucket vocals...well within the same ballpark as million-selling acts" - Al Muzer, the Aquarian Weekly
"Jangly guitars, raspy vocals, and a heart as big as a prairie...a passion and an integrity that I found very winning." - Jim Testa, Jersey Beat

Polish, passion and rock and roll grit!
author: Laura T Lynch of Kweevak.com
This New Jersey based trio creates modern rock music with tight arrangements, minimalist instrumentation and expressive vocals that are reminiscent of Jacob Dylan. Deep lyrics, somber tones and a touch of tension make this eleven-track CD an intriguing collection. Chris Feil on drums and Charlie Bonnell the bassist provide the subtle beats and undertones that merge into Joe Tristano's urgent vocals and textured guitar chords. 'Ariana' traces the highs and lows of a relationship. The instrumentation captures this ebb and flow as Joe's vivid vocals tell the story. It is followed by 'Half Your World' with its mystery and shadows that blend with a solid beat, gracious guitars and intimate vocals. 'Low Light' has layered vocals moving towards a slow burning hook line and fluid instrumentation. Copper Dalton brings honesty and passion to their polished production that still has rock and roll grit and edgy vocals.

This CD in my opinion was very good. It shows the true meanings and feelings as a whole. Putting it all together has made it much more worthwhile to listen to. The ideas put into the lyrics were very unique. It has a good pattern to it. I like it because it is different and unique. This CD i think will be a good inspiration to other's. Keep up the good work and do what's in your heart.
