Dallas-area worship leader Corby LaCroix is an emerging Christian singer/songwriter with one goal – to share the love of Jesus Christ through music with anyone who will listen. As the current worship pastor at Midlothian Bible Church just south of Dallas, Texas, there is no shortage of opportunities to do just that. But as Corby points out, “the Bible calls us to take the good news to all nations” so the April 2011 release of “Declaration” is the next step in putting hands and feet to that call.
With this album, Corby says he hopes to "proclaim the word of God through music and lead others into a deeply rooted relationship with Jesus Christ." Having written or co-written nine of the ten tracks on the album, Corby points out that through Scripture, God has inspired him to take a lyrical approach to His Truth and the songs just flowed from there. Collectively, these songs represent Corby's deep conviction for his will to be constantly molded into God's will.
Currently signed to TMG records out of Oklahoma City, Corby aspires to take his music to the next level and break into the national Christian music scene. He has also teamed up with Kyle Fenton Promotions to strengthen the push to Christian radio. Since the January national radio release of “You Remain”, the LaCroix-penned first single, program directors are beginning to take notice…with new stations steadily picking up the song from coast to coast. You can also catch Corby’s music on iTunes, Amazon, Pandora, Jango Radio, and a host of other internet outlets.
“I’m blessed to be able to sing and make music for a living”, Corby says, “but at the end of the day, it only matters if people are impacted and lives are changed for Christ. I just want to be used by Him in that effort…to that end.”
