Guitar hero with soul
author: crossman
I have all Corey's CDs. This one somehow escaped me in the stores but luckily found here. Most of his cds follow a similar sound format, and that's not a bad thing. The cds are never boring, always enjoyable, and there's something on there for everyone. His voice at times is very Claptonesque, his guitar playing SRVish, yet he maintains his own unqiue style. Each cd rusn the gammit from soulful ballads Clapton would be proud to have penned, to full bore ZZ Top back yard BBQ fun. Guitar antics in all the right places and never over the top. I would recommend any of his cds, Road to Zen, Blue Drops of Rain, and this one being my personal favorites. If you pick up one and you like it, you'll be hooked, and you won't be disappointed buying any of the others. Would love to see him live, it would be a great show.
