Album Notes

Corina Bartra, besides being a wonderful Jazz World vocalist, percussionist & composer,is a devoted teacher & practicioner of the yoga of sound. Naad Yoga ( yoga of sound) is the sound current which connects us to the Infinite. By repeating these mantras (cosmic vibrations) we connect with our infinte consciousness which is part of the Universal Consciousness. These mantras are part of the the rich, spiritual tradition of India. Corina Bartra is a pioneer of Afro Peruvian, latin & world jazz as she demonstrates in her acclaimed recordings: "Son Zumbon," "travelog," and "corina Bartra Quartet." In her CD's: "Chants From The Seeds Of Bliss," and "Ecstatic Chants From The Infinite," however, she shares with us her spiritual practise of Naad Yoga.
