Album Notes

Released in 2009, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter Corinne Curcio’s third solo CD "From My Balcony" explores several musical genres including Acoustic Pop, Rock, Blues, Folk, Swing and even some Celtic and Middle Eastern influenced songs. Playing guitar, keyboard, bass, percussion and drum programming, her sultry and emotive vocals are the perfect instrument for expressing her words. The lyrics, as always, are well crafted and personal, yet universal as she explores the light and dark sides of life.

"...From My Balcony is poetically descriptive with rich imagery and strong themes. Corinne's music ably supports her well constructed lyric and the production is clean and crisp. Corinne Curcio is a singer/songwriter to be reckoned with." - Don Sechelski - MusesMuse CD Reviewer

"...Classic (and classy) 60s-inspired rock-influences abound throughout From My Balcony...13 songs offer a most pleasant listening experience. This is due mainly to Corinne's strong, confident guitar playing and her mature songwriting skills...
In today's too-much-information world of hyper-media-train-wreck entertainment, it's rare to find genuinely contemplative, quietly distanced reflections in song that stand on their own and draw the listener in out of the common din of life. From My Balcony accomplishes this and more. It's titlle rings true. In tracks such as "Man in the Moon", "From My Balcony" and "Lazy August Afternoon" - while listening one can really envision Corinne Curcio up there - at her apartment somewhere in Brooklyn - courting her muse -- her observations stretching out across her view of the human universe. - Robert Urban, URBAN PRODUCTIONS ,NYC

Praise for Corinne’s second solo CD “Now”
"... the star attraction of this rockin' album is Corinne Curcio's talent triumvirate of great songwriting, great guitar work and great singing. Each track hits the ground running - and Corinne wastes no time in ushering the listener thru her intricately composed, harmonically rich and adventurous art-pop creations..." - Robert Urban - URBAN PRODUCTIONS, NYC
“…each time it is played, the listener is guaranteed to hear beyond the pleasurable sounds and experiences the wealth of life, love and lessons that Corinne has chosen to share with her listeners…I’ve seen Corinne perform live, and she can more than hold her own armed with just her voice, guitar and lyrics. One can argue that any combination of these elements would produce a great CD, but I doubt that many musicians could coordinate all these elements as flawlessly as Corinne Curcio does on “Now”…” – Jed Ryan
