The Hudson Current describes Corliss as "A 90's beat poet with sharp incisors...Her voice is alternately bottled rage, whispery vulnerability, staccato gunfire."
The Aquarian stated, "Her songs are drenched in lyrics ripped from the soul."
The New York Weekly explains, "What keeps fans on the edge of their seats is the intensity of this songwriters material."
In addition to performing at many NYC clubs including: The Mercury Lounge, Café Sin-e, CB's Gallery, The Sidewalk Café, The Turning Point (Piermont, NY), The Saint (Asbury Park, NJ), Maxwell's (Hoboken, NJ), The Outpost (Montclair, NJ), Corliss has also been invited to participate in various Industry Showcases such as The New Music Seminar, The ASCAP East Coast Pop Songwriters Workshop, and The NYU Independent Music Fest.
Corliss plans to return to the studio this summer to record a new CD which is tentatively scheduled for release in September 2001.
