Carson, CA artist Corpse is building his style and reputation by combining old school story telling and topics ala Too Short with the street vibes that get asses shaking and heads nodding at house parties, clubs, or just rollin’ through ‘hoods coast to coast. Corpse is a true west coast artist but this record is not JUST for the West.
Anybody who ever freestyled pulling a dime piece or partied till the lights came on will relate to Corpse’s theme on this record that life is short. Get what you came for. Corpse and long-time friend and business partner G-Nutt The Shark executive produced this speaker beater for their newly launched label Life Take’n Records. Production is predominantly manned by L.A. firestarter V. Ray but Corpse takes the reins on a couple joints.
