Great playing, never ending surprises. Some of it reminds me of Zappa, but they definatley have their own sound. Not many CD's make me smile as much as this one.

Impeccably Reverse Nauseating!
author: Paddy Leitsch
Man, I thought that nothing could make unclogging drains and cleaning my bathroom at all enjoyable, but this album is so great, it had me pretending I was Grim battling the hair clog monster of the deep. I never had such a positive experience doing such terrible work. In fact, I had so much fun due to this CD, that through some sort of Pavlovian response system, I am considering a career as a full time janitor. Perfect soundtrack for the non generation generation.

Down with The Bomb!
author: Mark Wyner
I've been listening to Cortex Bomb for approximately 10 years and have followed them through metamorphosis and evolution alike. I am yet to be anything less than astounded with their every move, and Fist or Finger (FOF) is no exception. Although The Bombers have taken a fresh approach to the method of recording FOF, the integrity of its core has not been disturbed. If anything, they have embellished what is to be, and has been, a unique style of music among odd players in the field.
A masterpiece from the library of Cortex Bomb, FOF is a necessity. Unless, of course, your childish intellect inhibits your ability to comprehend such a propounding collection of unusually-timed, toy-infested, electrostatic rhythms.
So shut up and buy it already.
Note from the author: unfortunately, Cortex Bomb is one of the few truly unsung heroes and is destined never to reach their rightful implementation as an integral chapter in the global history book of music. Sad, but true. Sniff.

Throw together wacky, experimental, electronics and sampling, hard rock, instrumental chaos, a touch of weird jazz and REALLY GOOD TASTE, and you get this boundary-smashing, macaroni salad of musical styles. The only thing more impressive is how they managed to make it all work so well! It's truly insane, adventurous, totally bizarre and lovable! Highly recommeded for drowsy Mondays.
