Album Notes

Dave Corwin's music has been likened to David Bowie, Peter Gabriel and John Lennon with a tribal, progressive rock feel.

Exotic percussion mixed with traditional rock instruments contributes to a truly unique sound. Besides a variety of guitars and keyboards, the album Many Hands features live perfomances of some instruments you just don't hear in modern rock.

Dave's newest album, Tough Beauty, features a strong collection of songs with a more focused rock feel than his debut CD, while still continuing to showcase Dave Corwin's unique lyrics and musical style.

Dave Corwin has opened for Billy Preston, played at the San Diego Sports Arena, The Whiskey A-Go-Go and The Roxy. The current live performance involves a huge array of exotic percussion fused seamlessly with an assortment of digital instruments and effects.
