Tyrone Cosey releases first CD The Only Power


July, 2003 (Oakland, CA) -- Tyrone Cosey, composer, arranger and choir director, always stayed true to his passion and with unwavering dedication is now proud to release his debut CD, The Only Power. A collection of 10 spiritual, soul-stirring songs that are sure to lift and inspire every listener.
The Only Power is a beautiful display of Tyrone's musical talents. Having served as Choir Director for several church choirs, including his current position with the East Bay Church of Religious Science Men's Chorus, Tyrone has perfected his divine talent to arrange and compose wonderful melodies laced with pitch-perfect vocals. Also serving as Executive Producer and co-producer on The Only Power, Tyrone could not have seen his dream come to fruition without the unparalleled production provided by Ben Heveroh. The two have been friends for over 10 years and Tyrone knew that when he was ready to step into the recording studio it would only be with the production skills and guidance of Ben. "Having such a powerful musical force as the producer is a treasure beyond measure," says Tyrone.

The CD also boost the support of several well know Bay Area singers on background, including Michelle Jordan, Sharon Henderson, De-Ann Lott, and legendary arranger, pianist and vocal coach Jackie Hairston.
