Album Notes

Nobody's Fool is the result of over two years of collaboration with members Judy Higgins, Kevin Perks, John Yacka , Matt Williams and more recently Steve Gregory. Cosmic Storm has its roots embedded solidly in the iconic Australian rock blues outfit Ironhorse of which John Yacka and Kevin Perks were an integral part. This album evolved as the members from Cosmic Storm met religously every week to record their music ideas as they surfaced. The agenda was that all ideas should be recorded and then the band would have the final "cull". Matt Williams played a crucial role in the sifting through of material and helping the band decide what is and what should not be! Into the studio to record the chosen 13 tracks and away they went. During this process a chance meeting with Kofi Burbbridge (Derek Trucks Band and currently the Tedeschi Trucks Band) resulted in Kofi assisting and playing keyboards on two tracks for the album. Reviews have likened this album to "Contemporary Northern American Rock". Ironically this music spawned from a place as far away from North America as you could get without out landing in Antarctica ! This music was created in Adelaide South Australia. Cosmic Storm describes it as - "Punchy Groove Roots Rock"
