Relatively few artists possess the ability to stand out in the music scene—seldom is there a musician who is so clearly distinctive from his or her contemporaries. With evocative storytelling and personal confessions, singer-songwriter Jared Costa has created a unique blend of folk-inspired music. He sets harmonica melodies up against acoustic guitar harmonies, creating a beautiful accompaniment for his deep, soulful voice. From love and joy to despair and gloom, Jared Costa’s music runs the gamut of emotions. Moments of brightness counterpoint moments of darkness in his songs, which displays his genuine humanity. When asked in an interview what he wishes to achieve with his music, Jared Costa replied, “Positivity. There’s a lot of negativity in the world. Music is a beautiful medium…a breath of fresh air.”
