This is Cosy's one live cd. It was recorded live in concert in Boston at Club Passim and for the Bridger Folk Society in Logan, Utah. This cd is best known for its two satirical songs: The Mustang Ranch (about late 1990's political scene and a whorehouse in Nevada) and The True Terrible Trials of Waldo The Dog (as heard on Dr. Demento, the story of Waldo losing his ability to reproduce...)
This is the best place to hear Cosy's guitar skills, and her voice is stellar! Kent Allyn plays bass behind her, but otherwise its all Cosy!
Another favorite from this cd is Cosy's cover version of Jean Ritchie's beautiful traditional-sounding love song: "One I Love".
Produced by Darleen Wilson, who also produced "Cry, Cry, Cry" as well as Catie Curtis' early cds.

Cosy's Best!!
author: Richard Hayes
Cosy Sheridan is an outstanding singer/songwriter (I guess saying folk singer is out these days). She is at her best live, and this recording shows it. Well produced, clear sound, yet has all the energy of a live show. This should most definitely by your first Cosy CD if you have never heard her before. And if you have any of her studio CDs, this is a MUST addition to your collection. It has been awhile, I hope she does another live CD with her recent material!

Some of Cosy's best-loved works are on this cd--the ones that makes us laugh out loud, think real serious, and sometimes even shed a tear. This woman has more talent than is legal, but thank goodness she's out there being so criminally terrific. One Cosy cd leads to another so as long as she keeps making them, we'll be all right.
