The best new music I have heard this year. This band will blow you away
author: Karen Cook
From the first note, this music grabs your attention and holds you captive. "Suffocate Me" is not only politically charged, it speaks to the plight of all people who seek justice. I want to "Sail Away" with my loved ones when I hear Ben sing of oppression. This CD is a must-listen for anyone who wants the truth served up ROCK!!!

Shreddin' tunes with substance
author: Ted Myer
In good songs, the music enhances the lyrical content. If you're singing about flowers and kitty cats, then a nice little pop tune with three-part harmony in the background is appropriate. It would make me puke, but then, I'm not a cat person.
When your lyrics are about racial inequities, the terrors of war, and political revolution, it's time to bring on some serious thrasher music, with distortion guitars, rap overlays and intense vocals. COT's *Dance of the Revolution* is a rare synergy of music and lyrics, propelling this album to greatness.
From the first track, "I Had a Dream," you get hit with the passion and energy that flow through the album. In the second and title track "Dance of the Revolution," the lead singer Ben Stewart screams out "We need to see a revolution in America" as the band backs him up with a combination of alternative/funk sound that anchors the lyrics with musical intensity.
"Let's Sail Away" shows off some silky vocals by Ben as he struggles with the weight of being a revolutionary, and the next track, "Back to Back," is a call to activism with a rhythmic hook that makes this song one of my favorites. The pumping "Back to Back" is followed by "Siege Engine," which features Mike Parshall's intense rap throughout. These two songs anchor the middle of this album with pumping music and a call to social change.
"Suffocate Me" is a gem both lyrically and musically. Lead guitar by Devanand Bassanoo soars over the opening lines, and the bass lays down a pulsing rhythm that makes this song rock as it questions the line between torture and "information gathering" done by our government.
How do these guys maintain such quality throughout the whole CD? There's little drop-off, with the possible exception of "Dia de los Muertos" which seems to lack some of the clarity and musical intuition of the other songs.
I've heard the band live, too, and it was one of the best live shows I've seen. Their energy translates into the live performance and adds to the songs. Great CD, great performers, great music.

Hard rocking, fist pumping, well written, heart felt Rock n Roll.
author: L. Bonine Music Coordinator-The Works Magazine
This CD starts off with the hard hitting, insanely powerful I Had A Dream, explosive and heart felt all in one. To the melodic Lets Sail Away that proves this band is as emotional as they are controversial. Ahhh, but the song Suffocate Me, now that gives me goose bumps, causes me to sing out loud. Well written and hard rocking Suffocate Me is my new favorite song. Dance of The Revolution is one of the best new albums released by an unsigned act this year!!! Conspiracy of Thought is a band to watch out for. Buy this CD you'll thank me afterwards. The Works Magazine- L. Bonine
