Album Notes

Formed from the ashes of San Diego major label acts Inch and Fluf, Congress dares to mix rock with roll, emo with core, and country with...country. Their sound has been described as a combination of "melodic rock, a mixture of post-hardcore, and a dash of winsome balladry."

Congress of the Cow is making music that pushes indie rock away from the obvious and more towards the ingenious. In fact, San Diego radio station 91X has gone so far as to recognize Congress as "a must see live" band.

Congress has shared the stage with some of the most respected figures in alternative music, including legends Frank Black and John Doe, as well as Imperial Teen, Smile, No Knife, Creeper Lagoon, Alien Crime Syndicate, and a long list of other impressive acts.
