Album Notes

COTTER -- Tommy Cotter is a veteran musician. He has a genius for making a guitar sound exactly like whatever is called for in any given song. His musicianship combines with sound engineering in the recording studio -- TMC Creative Audio -- where has has won recognitions and awards, including several "ADDYs" (the equivalent of a "Grammy" for music used in advertising). With Tommy, one take is all it takes. The man is a genius. A previous CD with a former group, Musical Moose, is entitled Gone With the Moose. Catch his show, "Evening Music", from 8pm until 12am, M-F, at www.wutc.org -- streaming audio.

JOHN -- John Standridge is an amateur musician. He dabbles in many instruments and hobbies. He began playing piano at age 6, and trumpet at age 11. Early musical influences included the jazz of Stan Kenton, the opera of Puccini, and the folk music of Leonard Cohen. His academic profession is as a professor of family medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine where he teaches doctors how to be people.

Special guest artists:

Shani Hedden is a KMA recording artist. Her CD "Threatening Dark Clouds" won KMA's International Album of the Year in 2000 after it topped the charts in Europe.

Aaron Standridge cut his musical teeth with the band Revolution Block, voted Knoxville's best in hard rock. Their CD "Role Model" is available through Ripchord Records.

Bob Courter is a veteran musician, also formerly of Musical Moose. He is in high demand for studio work in the Chattanooga area and appears on numerous CDs.

Kay Smith teaches music in the Chattanooga public school system and plays bass in the Chattanooga symphony.
