cottonmouth is a strong mix of blues, country and southern rock. they have been touring the southeast since 2000 and remain a steady and well known force in the regional music scene around north and south carolina. this album is packed with good songs combined with great production and a sound that will blow you away. cottonmouth is fronted by rodney burnett, who has been playing guitar and singing since the doctor smacked him on the ass. his soulful vocal style resembles a mix between ronnie van-zant and hank williams jr. cottonmouth picks up were rock off left in 1977. if your a fan of old fender and gibson guitars, hammond b-3 organs, thick hard hittin drums, old tube amps, and just straight up good rock and roll then dont pass this record up. we could praise this record all day but it still would not do it justice. just buy the record and rock on brothers and sisters!
