Album Notes

Countach (pronounced coon-tosh) an Italian word meaning “holy smoke”
Countach was built at the end of 2001 in Minneapolis, MN and has created their own brand of Midwestern Rock-n-Roll.
They released their first CD en e.p. entitled “Huge Rock” in March 2003 on their own label called Rock Mafia Records with members Joel Peterson, Mason Goodrich, and Bucky Jaszewski. But since, Bucky joined forces with the Arboleda Brothers (Dan and Lydell) and Brandon Laliberte. That’s when the Countach sound really started to take shape.

The music is a melting pot of molten metal, stoner, southern, and straight up rock-n-roll. The band has often compared to Corrosion of Conformity, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, and Thin Lizzy.

Countach is a hard working band determined to burn some rubber on the long hard road of rock-n-roll. As with “Gasoline”, "Frozen Waters" was recorded by the band themselves at Blackwall Studio; a studio they built in their rehearsal space.

The members of Countach finally found their outlet. They have the freedom to express themselves in the many styles they embrace. You never know what they might come up with next but yet it has that unique Countach sound.

If you haven’t yet experienced Countach be prepared to get rocked to the core. Plan to see Countach speeding down the highway many years to come.

This CD was originally released on Mushroom Cloud Records
