Album Notes

Counter Cosby is a power-trio from Ann Arbor, MI. The members consist of Langel on the bass, O'Neill on the drums and AROtotheN (pronounced 'arrow to the n') on guitar. They have been playing together since 1996, while they were all still in High School, and over ten years, have developed a very unique style.

Counter Cosby's music, being influenced by diverse tastes, creates an interesting, original blend of progressive metal, rock, carribean, funk, jazz, punk, and many others. They lovingly mock these styles, in the sarcastic, Counter Cosby way that they do. Having such diverse music makes it easy for Counter Cosby to play shows w/ bands of varied genres.

But to really get the full on Counter Cosby experience, you must see them live. They deliver a high energy, in your face, goofy-ass rock show that'll have you clutching your genitals! They have played at several venues in the South East/Mid-Michigan area, including the Blind Pig, the Heidleberg, the Temple Club, the Garden Bowl, the Corner bar, the Bluestage Club, the Machine Shop, Leopold Bros, the Bullfrog, Mac's bar, TC's Speakeasy, the Old Miami, Frenchies, the Neutral Zone, and the Elbow Room. They're looking to play out in your neighborhood, your basement, new venues and anywhere else they can. It's definately a show to remember!
