Album Notes

This is an album by Country Cattin' they are a spin off band from The Hicksville Bombers, Country Cattin' where booked to play the Royal Concert Hall for an tribute to Elvis night doing the 'Sun Sessions' spot so with this in mind and being the 50th anniversary of Elvis' 'Sun' recordings, Dave, Paul and Nathan got together to record some tracks in the same way Elvis, Scotty and Bill would have done in 1954, they used the same instruments and vintage recording equipment and the same recording techniques that Sam Phillips would have used. The Riverside studios in Blackpool was chosen as the Studio as the owner Chris Cummings uses a lot of vintage equipment. The results are very pleasing as i'm sure if you listen to the demos you'll see.

Sun Worship

I love that they really captured the feel of the Elvis Sun recordings. I sounds much more authentic than some of the other rocabilly revival acts I\'ve heard. I loved it!
