Album Notes

Over the years there have been some really great ladies
recording on the Axbar and Trophy labels. Someone
suggested that it would be nice to have all of them on one
album. Seemed like a good idea, so Joe Scates planned
and assembled this CD and put it on MP-3. It received
a lot of airplay and good reviews and most of the songs
charted on the international charts.
The featured singers are all female, except Willie Nelson
joined Kathy Timm on "Two Timing, Two Stepping
Cowboy."

What a line-up of breathtaking femininity at its best. I don't know whether to go ga-ga just looking at the pictures... but then I'd miss the wonderful talent coming off their vocal chords. I am mesmerized, overwhelmed, and in love six times over.
