Coveted Green is a Columbus, OH band who, in 2005, set out with one purpose – to write great music.

“Many people start bands for all the wrong reasons, to look cool, show off, impress their girlfriends,” said drummer, Jeff Thomas, “We started this band because we love music and we love writing songs.”

One listen to their debut CD, Just Push Me, and you’ll hear their passion for music. Track one, The Captain, has a fun vibe with a great bass line.

Another notable song, Before Me, is emotionally charged and full of great vocals, great lyrics, and even a mandolin piece.

But Coveted Green shows their true songwriting flexibility with track twelve, Breach, an inspiring twelve-string acoustic guitar arrangement accompanied by cello. It is sure to give chills to even the most hardened musical hearts!

The artwork for Just Push Me is equally inspiring. An arrangement of dark and rustic alongside bright and vibrant photos is strikingly descriptive of the music.
