Bringing together the songwriting and performing talents of Emilyn and Coyote Joe, Coyote Moon's debut album, Shooting Stars, showcases the best of this musical duo, with the artistic addition of a number of other talented musicians.

The songs are a blend of originals by both Emilyn and Joe, traditionals, and a couple traditional country favorites. Coyote Moon's signature synergy of soulful, rockin, folk, country, ethereal, and earthy comes through as a strong whole on this album.

Coyote Moon sings songs that evoke the wide open spaces of the West. With two voices, two guitars, and a fiddle, their sound is carefully crafted and ranges from intimate to rockin'.

Emilyn and Coyote Joe share their passion for Americana music in Coyote Moon, drawing from their diverse backgrounds in country, folk, rock, and Classical music.

Emilyn’s gentle fingerpicking and mesmerizing soprano clearly complement the high energy of Coyote Joe’s soulful and energetic guitar and vocals, creating the tangible synergy that defines Coyote Moon. Both performers also offer a few solo tunes, showcasing their individual styles and adding variety to the show.

Their songs range from Rocky Mountain inspired originals, to classics of Ian Tyson and Emmylou Harris, and traditionals such as Shenandoah and Wayfarin Stranger--all sung from the heart and tied together with tight vocal harmonies.
