I was driving through Perris, California; when I saw a 1957 Cheverolet Nomad, perfect except it had no front end . I was compelled to stop and ask, where is the rest of the car? That"s when I met Paul Fields; he used to hang with Waylen Jennings in Las Vegas . After talking car for a while he asked; Is that a guitar in the back seat? He wondered if I wanted to come in and jam; We wrote two albums together and this is the first. So i decided this album to Paul Fields and that 57 nomad.
"Vigilante Love","Harley's Little Girl", "Forbidden Love" and "Road Trip" Paul and I wrote with a little help from Steve Wolf and Kathy Kriegel."Harley's Little Girl" is a true story about a young girl who's father went to jail and how she stold his bike and rode it to Sturges, in the studio it was a lot of fun and the harley was driven by Tony Maurillo . "Guilty of a Crime of Love" and "Don't drive my car when you are high", came from the set of "Deadwood" the HBO show. We were working actors when I met Pablo from Argintina he and I sat down and played like we had been playen together for years. You can hear the blend we later recorded it at Leslie's house in her living room ."Don't drive my car when you are high"was written by Sharon Simchowitz , Kathy Kriegel,Sarah Wolf and Richard Buckley .
