ABOUT THE GROUP
C.P.T. which stands for Centerpoint the area the group is from, was founded about 4 years ago by Roland Harris (Big Ru), Arthur Ford (aka Tha Anchor), and C.P.T. affiliate Joseph Moore (Tha goodboy). The group all met in highschool where oddly enough their first loves were not rapping but sports. Art and Tha goodboy were both standout basketball players for the Erwin Eagles, while Big Ru excelled on the football field. After highschool and a brief stab at college, the fella's realized they all had a common love for music and MCing. From freestylin to battling the group gained a mutual respect for the others skill. Quickly realizing that they could do something special and represent for their hometown, which no one else was, they all decided to join forces and put the rap game on lockdown! After briefly signing and recording the album on another local record label the group would soon be standing on their own two feet. Boldly Art and Big Ru bought the rights to their album, printed up their own CDs, and founded Now or Never Entertainment! Within about two weeks of having the album printed up the disc was getting rave reviews from the streets. Also within those same two weeks 95.7 jamz, Power 105.9 both of the major urban radio stations in Birmingham had the single Shake it, Shake it in rotation, not an easy task for an independent local artist and label. After pushin' copies of the disc by hand and in local stores the group decided the next thing they had to do was lock down the internet. Using their sports background which provided, discipline, and a fierce competitive nature the group is set on taking the world by storm. With a refuse to lose mentality the fellas 'take no prisoners' flow is set on taking them to the top and beyond. C.P.T. are not alone in the labels quest for world domination. Tha goodboy as mentioned before is a solo artist on the label and is currently working on his album. Also M.A.G. is a group of three who is also on the label and is in the studio doing their thing right now. So I hope you all enjoy the first installment from the Now or Never Entertainment camp. HOLLA AT YA FOLKS!
