Album Notes

Born Brooklyn, New York City, November 22, 1950

Spent one year and a half of college of Liberal Arts (music
included)at Schenectady Community College, NY

Started studying & playing music (guitar) early 1969.
Moved to San Francisco, CA 1980. After playing in several bands went on a long musical hiatus in early 90's.

Began performing poetry at various Bay Area venues.
Published 3 chapbooks of poetry: Deja Voodoo, The Tongue Never Sleeps, and Millennium Man (still in print and available at City Lights Books).

Spent (1998-2001) reading poetry live over KFOG 104.5 radio Morning Show as The KFOG Beatpoet.
Ended musical hiatus and started recording CD, “Welcome to ElectriCrazyland” fall 2003.

Major music inspirations: Big George Hardin (my grandfather) played guitar and sang with his group The Hardin Brothers; recorded one known single under own name.

Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, John (Mahavishnu) Mclaughlin, Tony Williams, Allan Holdsworth, Frank Gambale, Motown, James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, P-Funkadelic, Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Rush, Run-DMC, Frank Zappa, all (except Coltrane)I have seen live in concert!!
Along with a galaxy of other stars too innumerable to mention here!

And to the Poets: Allen Ginsberg, Philip Lamantia, Amiri (Leroi Jones) Baraka, Bob Kaufman, Gregory Corso,Anne Sexton, Sharon Olds, Kamoou Dauood, and a universe of others!
