Album Notes

With a sound that’s like a chopped salad of Foo Fighters, STP, and Jimmy Eat World, Craving Strange serve up edgy yet poppy original rock to your earholes. Yea….can ya taste it….with your earholes!!!!!

Formed the spring of 2008, mixing influences in rock, pop, alternative, and metal Craving Strange has created a sound that is familiar yet totally their own.

The band released the 3 song EP ‘Tonight We Die For’ and hit the road in July 08, with songs from the EP getting added to podcasts and internet radio around the world the band spent the winter of 08 locked in their own studio recording what would be the full length album ‘Savior Self’ which they officially released in August of 2009. Over the next year the band hit the road supporting the album with tours of the Midwest and Northeast, while constantly expanding and refining their sound.

Their live shows have captivated a variety of different audiences throughout the east coast, earning the band a reputation as a must see attraction. Giving every ounce of energy whether in front of 10 people or 1,000 has earned the band a growing legion of dedicated fans that scream, shout, cry, and sing along turning every show into a memorable and exciting experience.
