Album Notes

Roy Crawford grew up in Alabama, where he first developed his love for traditional country music. Singing in his church youth choir gave him an even greater appreciation for music and provided a forum for enhancing his singing skill. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and during his military career he traveled through all 50 states and visited over 30 foreign countries. All this time he continued to sing in church choirs and maintain his love of singing.

After joining Toastmasters International, he attended a conference where the entertainment was karaoke. He enjoyed that experience so much that he bought his own karaoke system and began hosting karaoke parties for other Toastmasters and church groups. Shirley Raye, a member of the Traditional Country Music Hall of Fame, recognized his singing talent and referred him to Country Discovery Records to produce his first CD. Now that he has completed his most recent term as Toastmasters International District 23 Governor for all of New Mexico and west Texas, he will have more time to devote to his singing career. After hearing this new artist, audiences are already looking forward to his next project.
