Album Notes

Crawling Home is a Northern Virginia based, 4-piece modern rock band that "brings the rock" with catchy, radio friendly original music. Influences run the gamut, ranging from Led Zeppelin to Better Than Ezra, Van Morrison to Dave Matthews and Bruce Springsteen to Barenaked Ladies. The Washington City Paper has said, "The NoVa quartet plays the kind of hook-filled, shimmering rock that makes us want to dance...until we can't stand up."

Crawling Home has played in the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area for over 4 years. During that time, they have amassed a considerable local following, have received radio play on the largest radio station in the area, DC101, and have headlined at almost every major venue in Alexandria, Arlington, and Washington DC. They have traveled to play shows in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware.

Crawling Home is currently expanding its fan base even more with the release of its first full length CD, "Pictures on the Wall". With a range of musical styles and conversational lyrics, this 12 song release captures the moods and influences of singer Pete Carlone, guitarist Ryan Downs, bassist Seth Reece and drummer Eddie Healy, Jr. Fans of the band have already dubbed the CD, "a true representation of a great live band" and D.M. Tynan of The Connection has said about the music, "...the tune and words stay with you, echoing in your head long after the CD has played."

If you know Eddie Healy, you know that he can talk you into doing almost anything-- and that is how I came to buy the cd. The music is a breathe of fresh air when compared to most of the crap you hear on the radio stations now a days-- I am definitely looking forward to seeing Crawling Home in action and making it big one day!!!
