Album Notes

The 3-CD collection, in addition to containing a terrific number of great tunes, is also describing the intriguing journey of a band from genre to genre and back again, and including along the way a song that reflect the changes and attitudes and beliefs about America in this strange time we live in. Don't worry--the music is still fun, still danceable, still party-worthy, and definitely about loving life!

The first, "Welcome to Hip Hop Country!" is a rollicking fun trip to "country" as written and played by rock/pop musicians...and is as funny as it is interesting and romantic, rolled into one album.

The second, Damn, It Feels Good to Be a Cowboy! continues with the rambunctious fun attitude the Crazed Cowboys showed in album one, but that rock/pop influence continues to creep even further into their writing and performance, making for a truly interesting stroll through the lives of these guys, and probably hitting on the lives of many others and yourself in similar "places" in their lives.

The third album show the Cowboys at their most politically aware moment, but that is reflected in only one song...Tom Lee believes in music making a statement, but also feels strongly that despite all the horrific problems, that there will always be time for a plain ole tune to dance to, to think about, to party with and to play again and again.

We offer this three-CD collection proudly, and hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoyed writing and playing it...

P.S. On #2 and #3, not ALL songs were written by the Cowboys---you'll find some awesome cover tunes from some of our most beloved musicians, all done "Crazed Cowboys" style.
