ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Crazy Moon Plan's debut CD is fully loaded with a fresh blast of original, eclectic, and fun tunes for your stereo. They've come from the farthest reaches of the galaxy to bring their explosive concoction of retro grooves and 21st century sounds to planet Earth. By blending the fun of early rock n' roll (Beatles, Beach Boys, and Stones) with the intensity of contemporary bands (Weezer, Jimmy Eat World, and The Strokes), and topping it off with generous doses of cryogenic propellants, Crazy Moon Plan has forged a sound that will make your room spin and keep you dancing for days. Audiences all across the universe are quickly developing a serious addiction to Crazy Moon Plan's catchy melodies, thoughtful lyrics, and combustible rhythms.

If you like John Lennon and Brian Wilson, check out CMP
I saw these guys at the Whiskey about a year ago, when they were still calling themselves the Fuzz Devils. They put on a fantastic show back then - excellent musicianship and great all-around energy. This cd is an A+ effort that showcases a distinctive sound and unique delivery that sets this band apart from the rest of mainstream pop. Clever songcraft and memorable melodies will keep you hitting the "repeat" button on your cd player.

I highly recommend checking this cd out. -RW

Portentious Greencheese Moonrawk! (Yeah, yeah... yeah)
K. Really. Ok. Admittedly i'm all about this basic neck-o-the-woods, genre wise. Nonetheless. Been keeping track of these kids for a teeny while (as Fuzzdevils last annum, then POOF - gone!). Turns out THIS is their arrival. Yep. Cratering into ellay at the exact time that aged psychonaut Brian Wilson re-re-releases "lost" monsterpiece "SMILE". Coincidence? I think naught. ANYONE who admires and pines for the achingly disjointed beauty and horror of said brilliantine whackjob will buy this record (I hope) and find comfort and solice in knowing that his mighty influence lives on (in much less fractured and forlorn souls) with such grace, brevity of spirit, and youthful vigor... Oh! Buy it now and thank me later. One of the best records I've heard in some time. If you like that sort of thing. -dk

Music that gives you that bubblegum goodness all day long
A cd that makes you giggle, gasp and maybe groan a time or two but all in the best of ways. What's not to like with hot boys singing songs that stick in your head hours after the flavor has left the gum. They have put the fun back into music and the innocence back into flirting and yet talk of things like methadone and maddness that make you want to embrace not cringe those who fall upon those rocks of life. Fuzz devils have become the crazy moon plan but I secretly call them the waves of wonder. May panties fly at every show boys! :)

GREAT BAND, DUMB NAME
These guys are all over the map but in a good way. like a good movie they've got serious parts broke up by funny parts. That song MAKE BELIEVE ME is some moving s**t. Stays in your head. NAKED made me laugh my a** off. who's the sexy girl in it? i'd like to meet her. and THE MARS SONG is good, especially after a few bowls. a short album but i put it on repeat all day.
