Album Notes

Creation Station Music was founded in 2007 by Todd Urban and Shelley Kay. After being frustrated by the lack of quality music for children, Todd and Shelley set out to write songs that can be enjoyed not only by kids, but by their parents too. By using the most up to date research, the songs are written in ways to help incorporate language, imagery, counting, and musical appreciation.

Todd Urban is a K-12 Nationally Certified Public School Music Teacher. After graduating from William Paterson University with a degree in Music Education and Jazz performance, Todd spent his time working privately with students. His most recent advancement in eduation came after receiving a degree in Neuromuscular Therapy. With this degree, Todd now focuses on helping students utilize their bodies effectively so that they can overcome physical limitations and injuries.

Shelley Kay served as a music teacher at Rhythm Rhyme Music time program in the Los Angeles schools. During this time she designed and constructed the theatrical sets for over 12 different shows during her tenure with Creative Kids Theatre Project in LA. Equally skilled in her use of puppets and choreography, Shelley received a B.A. from Colby College in Waterville, ME with a double major in Performing Arts and Creative Writing. She lives in New York and performs her original music in area clubs as a singer-songwriter.
