A performer since the age of 13, when she first took to the stage in a smoky Irish pub, Janie Cribbs has travelled the world and led a musician's gypsy life all the while experiencing many different styles of music and forming and finding her unique vision and voice along the way.

"I'm a storyteller at heart" says Cribbs, and with the release of her newest c.d.
"Afterall" we once again get the chance to come into her world and see the dreams and hopes, the losses and hidden truths that we all share.

Established as an up and coming singer-songwriter in the Pacfic Northwest and performing regularly with her band in venues from taverns to arts festivals, unplugged house concerts and 'in store's', the band "Creates uplifting and original music driven by Cribbs' passionate and often powerful lyrics and voice"(Skagit Valley Herald.) Janie Cribbs performs as a duo,(voice and guitar), trio (voice, guitar and harmonica) and accoustic quartet (adding hand drums) as well as a full-on electric band with bass.
