Album Notes

Crimson Sweet is Polly Watson (vocals, guitar), "Electric" Al Huckabee (drums), and Robbie Kongress (bass). Drawn together by a mutual love of the high life (peanut butter, Polaroids, and third-rate T. Rex rip-off bands), the three ex-schoolmates started playing loud art-damaged street-ravaged rock 'n' roll together in the dying days of the last millennium. Since then the band, whose members believe themselves to be at the forefront of the tasterati movement, has toured the Midwest extensively, the U.S. comprehensively and Europe expensively. Shake It Records is proud to present Crimson Sweet's second full-length album, Eat the Night, recorded and co-produced by the legendary Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, Iggy Pop, Ramones).
